** Web Sites Server Upgrade **

TeamSizzle is pleased to announce the necessary and successful upgrade of the web server computer that powers our popular GetYourSpotNow.com and TeamSizzle.com websites. The upgrade was necessary to handle the current and future traffic we have been experiencing due to the growth and success of TeamSizzle. Our new server has double the memory, much more room on the hard drive, and a faster processor.

Although we were not immediately pressed to perform the upgrade we like to stay ahead of the growth. The upgrade went well except for some longer than expected downtime on the TeamSizzle.com site and a few "hiccups" with the DNS and IP address changes. Overall it was a great success and we wish to thank our webmaster and technical support crew for their preparation, execution and the fast and professional way they handled the aforementioned "opportunities."

Good news for the Network Marketing industry!

FTC Revises New Business Opportunity Rule

Exempts Multilevel Marketing Companes!

March 18th, 2008
The Federal Trade Commission announced today that the New Business Opportunity Rule that was proposed in April of 2006 has been significantly revised.

According to the FTC notice, "The Business Opportunity Rule would still cover those schemes currently covered by the interim Business Opportunity Rule, and it would expand coverage to include work-at-home schemes." Most significant to our businesses, the FTC goes on to say,"the revised proposal, however, would not reach multilevel marketing companies or certain companies that may have been swept inadvertently into scope of the April 2006 proposal."

Within the revised new rule it goes on to streamline the required discloser information by "eliminating requirements to disclose the number of cancellations and refund requests that a business opportunity seller receives or the litigation history of sales personnel."

Commentary:

A number of individuals and associations within our industry claimed, or endorsed those who claimed, that the FTC proposed this new rule for the deliberate and specific purpose of destroying the network marketing industry. What's more, it was being "fast tracked" to expedite our industry's demise, or at the very least to garner significant federal revenue from the fines that would ultimately be levied on network marketing companies.

Chicken Little appears to have been wrong.

I'm only hedging slightly because I haven't read the entire text of the 114 page revised version of the rule yet. I expect to find at least a few little gotcha's (or still-can-getcha's) in there somewhere. But at least based on the notice posted by the FTC today is seems to be a complete victory for the network marketing industry. And as it should be. If you haven't been following this issue, check out Gerald Nehra's article "FTC: What Were You Thinking?" to get an idea of how misguided the original version of the rule was.

Also you will be able to select from several themes or looks for the site as well as the focus of the site (products, opportunity, etc.). These settings are all available through your SISEL Back Office under the "My Account" | "My SISEL Website" menu option.

Currently there is one look and focus available for selection but more will be added soon. As well as ONLINE ENROLLMENT and ONLINE ORDERING for customers who visit your site!

Have you ever heard the excuse or lament: "I just don’t have enough time."

Well whether you realize it or not you ALWAYS have time for the things that are MOST important to you.

But how can anyone say that when there are so many thing we HAVE to do whether we want to or not?

The "trick" is in the idea that we tend to gravitate to doing the things that really ARE most important to us. The "problem" is what is most important to us changes from moment to moment.

When you wake up in the morning the most important thing for you to do may be to go to your job. Or it may be to drive your kids to school. Or it may be to relax and read a good book.

When someone says they "don't have time," what they are really saying is "that is not important enough to me to make time to do it."

Yes, we have responsibilities, obligations and duties that may take a lot of our time and may not really be what we want to be doing right then. But by the very fact that we consider them a responsibility, obligation or duty and that we choose to do them shows that they truly are important to us.

What often defines our success (or failure) is what we choose to do with the non-obligated time we have. What do you do or even think about in the few "spare" moments you have each day? What do are your priorities for your days off? What things to you try to "find" time to do? What would you rather be doing right now?

You can choose things that help you grow, build, learn, create, serve others, etc. Or you can choose activities that will challenge you or even entertain you. But by our very choices we are saying to the world what our priorities really are (at least at that time).

So the next time you get ready to say: "I just don't have time," stop for a moment and think about what that is saying about your true priorities.
